The 2015 MYTEF grant applications are now posted online at http://www.midwesttennisfoundation.com/#!grants/cimm. Following are the available grants, and the first deadline for the new year is January 1 (applications must be postmarked by this date).
Individual grants - Junior tennis players of all tennis abilities may apply, and these factors are considered when evaluating applications: age, standings, annual improvement, number events played, academic performance, income/financial need, other resources available, and good sportsmanship. (Deadlines are January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, and you may select one of the deadlines to apply during the year.)
Program grants - Community based youth tennis programs may apply including those which include the QuickStart format, schools needing equipment to teach students tennis in their physical education classes, and more. A current USTA Organization membership is a requirement to apply for a MYTEF program grant. (Deadlines are January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, and you may select one of the deadlines to apply during the year.)
Dorothy Kohl Future Star Award - Provided to female players who are competing in Girls' 14, 16 and/or 18 age divisions at the national level, ITF level, and/or professional level. (Deadlines are January 1 and July 1, and you may select one of the deadlines to apply during the year.)
EntouRaj for Kids High Performance Grant - Provided to one junior player who is between 14 and 18 years of age competing at the national level. (There is currently one deadline which is January 1.)
