USTA/MTEF Awards 2016 High School Senior Scholarships

Each year the USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation (USTA/MTEF) awards scholarships to high school seniors who are in need of financial assistance to further their college educational pursuits. The scholarships are designed to reward youth players with funding to advance both their educational and tennis interests. USTA/MTEF is excited to announce the 2016 recipients of the Tim & Tom Gullikson, Hooked on Tennis, Rick Van Horn, and Richard Bradley Scholarships. 2016 Anne Krupp Memorial Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation Anne Krupp Memorial Scholarship inaugural recipients. Lisa Gilson from Wisconsin and Dawn Crawford from Indiana are this year’s recipients. The scholarship in the amount of $2,500 is presented to one or more USTA/Midwest Section tennis players of any age who need additional training or assistance with travel to participate in Adaptive Tennis, Special Olympics, or Wheelchair Tennis, displays excellent sportsmanship on and off the court, and exhibits the true spirit of Anne. She was a passionate tennis fan and advocate, working as a teaching professional, while putting much of her energy into working with Special Olympics Tenn

2015 MYTEF Annual Report

Through the generosity of our donors we were able to disburse approximately $115,000 in grant and scholarship funding during 2015. We are proud to share that more than $1,000,000 has been awarded in grants and scholarships spanning more than 20 years. The Annual Report contains several examples regarding how funded programs and individual players have used MYTEF funding over the past year. We are also excited to highlight our five scholarship recipients who received funding to advance their educational and tennis interests.
