Save the Date!
Supporters, grant and scholarship recipients and donors from the across the United States and the USTA/Midwest Section will come together on Friday, August 18 for a special Generations of Greatness celebration to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the USTA/Midwest Tennis and Education Foundation. This momentous occasion will be held in conjunction with the Western and Southern Open in Mason, Ohio and the USTA/Midwest Section Semi-Annual Meeting.
The celebration will include a buffet dinner and a silent auction for approximately 200 guests from 7 states. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend the evening’s tennis match at the Western and Southern Open following the 25th Anniversary festivities.
All proceeds from the Generations of Greatness celebration will benefit the Foundation and its mission to develop the life skills of youth through tennis and education. In 2016, the Foundation awarded more than $100,000 in grants to local community programs and junior tennis players of all abilities. During 2017, the Foundation is expanding its mission to service adult populations which include Adaptive, Wheelchair Tennis and Disabled Veterans.
Founded in 1992, the USTA/Midwest Tennis and Education Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the USTA/Midwest Section.
